Let me begin by saying if you are coming to the area for just 2-3 weeks then stay at one of the Corp. parks in the area. They are great, if you have to stay longer your options are limited and Front Porch is about it unless you are willing to drive 60+ one way to the Demopolis Area. I have to say in my 15 years of RV'ing this is the worst place I have ever seen. People keep chicken under the front of the 5th wheel. Several permanent camper that must be from the 60's that need major overhauls. Basically it is nothing more than a gravel pit with hook ups, the power goes out 2-3 times a day extremely low water pressure in the evenings, no mowing or trimming of weeds unless they can get to it on a riding mower. Also if you are staying in the rainy season be prepared to move since this campground flooded last December and evacuation was ordered. The storage yard next door will not accept anything except 1 month storage fee even to park for a few days. I really have nothing positive about the place except it was close to the job and did eliminate a great deal of driving. Warning when you are ready to leave expect the owner to come up with a list of extra charges that are not list or mentioned upon arrival.
I loved my stay! Very nice owners and beautiful view. It's a little tight but the view makes up for it.
